First let out all the air in the inner tube.

Then take out the inner tube: Use the cocked end of the tire lever to insert it into the outer tire, starting from a position roughly opposite to the valve (do not pry directly opposite the valve, but slightly to the side). First, pinch the tire, pull it to one side, and then insert the tire lever into the bottom of the tire. Be careful not to insert the tire lever too deep. The tire lever cannot get stuck in the inner tube. You can place a layer of cloth between the rim and tire levers so that the tire levers will not damage the rim.

Then look for holes: You can find a place with water, inflate the inner tube and put it in the water to find holes. Also, be careful when looking for water.

Then use a trowel to deal with the damaged area: the roughened area around the hole should be a little larger than the tire patch, so that it can be applied more firmly and prevent air leakage. When filing, you should file in the same direction and do not file back and forth. If the broken point is near the inner tube molding line, be careful to smooth the innertube molding line.

Then apply glue to repair the gap: don’t apply too much glue and apply it evenly. After applying the glue, let it dry for a while. You must wait until the surface is dry and looks gray instead of shiny before you can apply the tire patch.

Finally, install the inner tube: drain the inner tube and install the inner tube starting from the valve.
