Bicycle tires and bicycle inner tubes

A bicycle tire is what the eye sees attached to the wheel, while the inner tube is hidden inside the tire with air inside. If you get a puncture, it's important to check the tire for large scratches that warrant a new tire, otherwise usually just the tube needs to be replaced. Also, be sure to identify the cause of the puncture, such as a nail or a piece of glass, and remove them from the tire before replacing the inner tube. If you don't, you'll still get a flat tire!
