Car sales ranking in February 2025
According to IT Home on March 3, the automobile sales/delivery data for February 2025 have been released one after another. Among them, BYD continued to lead the way with sales of more than 320,000 new cars in February, and the entire Hongmeng Zhixing series delivered more than 21,000 new cars. Xiaomi SU7’s deliveries in February exceeded 20,000 units for five consecutive months.
IT Home summarizes the car sales list for February 2025 as follows (Hongmeng Zhixing did not release data for the same period last year):
BYD Auto sold 322,846 vehicles in February, up 164% year-on-year.
SAIC Motor sold 295,000 vehicles in February, up 41.9% year-on-year.
Geely Auto sold 204,910 vehicles in February, up 84% year-on-year, with monthly sales exceeding 200,000 vehicles for six consecutive months.
Chery Group sold 181,000 vehicles in February, up 26.4% year-on-year. Chery brand sold 106,312 vehicles, Xingtu brand sold 6,706 vehicles, Jetour brand sold 42,257 vehicles, iCAR brand sold 5,806 vehicles, and Zhijie brand sold 10,004 vehicles.
Great Wall Motor sold 77,883 new vehicles in February, up 9.65% year-on-year.
Xpeng Motors delivered 30,453 new cars in February, a year-on-year increase of 570%, and the delivery volume exceeded 30,000 for 4 consecutive months.
Li Auto delivered 26,263 vehicles in February, a year-on-year increase of 29.7%.
Leapmotor delivered 25,287 vehicles in February, a year-on-year increase of 285%.
Hongmeng Zhixing delivered 21,517 new cars in February, and ranked first in the average transaction price of Chinese auto brands.
GAC Aion's global sales in February were 20,863, a year-on-year increase of 25%.
Xiaomi Auto SU7's delivery in February exceeded 20,000 for 5 consecutive months, with a cumulative delivery of more than 180,000 vehicles.
Deep Blue Auto delivered 18,738 vehicles globally in February, a year-on-year increase of 87%.
NIO delivered 13,192 new vehicles in February, up 62.2% year-on-year.
Lantu Auto sold 8,013 vehicles in February, up 152% year-on-year; cumulative sales this year are 16,022 vehicles.
Avita sold 5,182 vehicles in February, up 108% year-on-year.
