Causes of leaking tires

When the valve still leaks after replacing the valve, and the cause cannot be found, you can start from the situations listed below. Because there are very few reasons for tire leakage, it is nothing more than the valve, valve core, tread, and wheel hub. After eliminating the valve and valve core problems, there are only treads and hubs left.

1. Due to the bumpy road surface or the effect of cold shrinkage and thermal expansion, and the deformation of the wheel hub, there is a gap between the tire and the wheel hub, causing the tire to leak. You can sprinkle water on the connection between the tire and the hub, if there are air bubbles, the seal is not tight;

2. When the car encounters a sharp object during driving, it pierces into the tire. You can sprinkle water on the tire surface to check, if there are air bubbles, it means air leakage;

3. The tire may rub against the curb, causing the side of the tire to be scratched. This condition can be observed with the naked eye;

4. It may be that during the tire installation process, the inner edge of the tire is damaged due to incorrect operation, so that the inner edge of the tire does not fit tightly with the tire. If this happens, the tires can be removed for inspection.

If it is found that the tire valve is leaking, then you need to replace the new valve, cut off the old one, and re-install the new one. In the process of installing the new air nozzle, if you find that it cannot be plugged in, you can apply some detergent to lubricate it.
