Changing car tires
Changing car tires
Replacing car tires requires tools: small jack, sleeve for loosening nut, anti-theft screw removal head, nut protection cover removal head, and triangular warning sign.
Step 1: Park safely. To ensure safety, the vehicle that needs to change tires must be parked on the roadside or emergency lane, and the ground must be flat; turn off the engine, pull the handbrake and turn on the warning light, and place a triangular warning sign behind the car (about 100 meters behind the car on the highway).
Step 2: Get tools. Most vehicles have spare tires in the trunk. As long as you follow the instructions on the car or the vehicle manual, you can see the spare tire and the tire changing tools that come with it.
Step 3: Remove the tire.
1: Loosen the screws first. Use the tool to open the nut cap, and use the force of the ground to loosen the screws on the tire that needs to be replaced diagonally.
2: Use the jack again. Place the jack under the side of the car where the tire needs to be replaced, choose a flat position on the ground to lift the vehicle off the ground, and do not need to lift it too high.
3: Remove the screws and take off the tire. Note that the top screw should be removed last.
Step 4: Replace the spare tire or a new tire. After installing the spare tire on the axle, tighten the anti-theft screws diagonally from the top. The screws must be installed accurately, otherwise they will easily slip out. Then loosen the jack and lower the vehicle, tighten the screws again, install the nuts, etc., and you are done. The last thing is to pack up the tools.
