Common knowledge about tire patch
Common knowledge about tire patch
1. Remove the wheel where the broken tire is located and remove the tire. When removing the tire, it is best to pry up one side with a bamboo board, press the two sides of the tire as much as possible to the middle and then gently remove it. Be careful not to break the two sides of the tire too roughly, which will cause secondary damage to the tire, which is not worth the loss.
2. Find the broken hole of the tire, clean up the foreign objects around the broken hole, use sandpaper to roughen the area around the broken hole in the tire, apply cold patch glue, apply as much as possible, wait for 5 to 7 minutes, and then stick a large piece of cold patch glue in the tire. If the speed is high, it can be cold patched into two layers to increase the repair strength, and two layers of cold patch films of the same size are glued in symmetrical positions in the tire to keep the wheel balanced.
3. Finally, install the tire. If it is manually inflated, start vigorously, try to quickly inflate and seal both sides of the tire, install the valve needle, inflate to the specified steam pressure, and then tighten the valve needle. Finally check, if there is no leakage, the tire repair work with cold patch film is completed.
