The function of the fuel filter is to remove solid impurities such as iron oxide and dust contained in the fuel, prevent the fuel system from clogging (especially the nozzle), reduce mechanical wear, ensure the stable operation of the engine, and improve reliability.

The structure of the fuel injector is composed of an aluminum shell and a bracket with stainless steel inside. A high-efficiency filter paper assembly is installed on the bracket. The filter paper is seen as a chrysanthemum shape to increase the flow area. The EFI filter cannot be combined with the carburetor. The filter is universal. Because the EFI filter often bears the fuel pressure of 200~300kPa. Therefore, the pressure resistance of the filter is generally required to be above 500kPa, and the filter of the carburetor cannot meet the requirement.

The oil filter must be replaced every 30,000 kilometers. If the fuel impurity content is large, the driving distance should be shortened accordingly. The arrow on the fuel filter housing indicates the flow direction of the fuel, and it is not allowed to reverse when installing the fuel filter. Even if it works for a short time in the inverted state, it must be replaced.
