Patch tire repair method
Patch tire repair method (internal repair)
Need dynamic balancing
This method is the most common and is used by most tire repair shops. First separate the tire from the wheel hub, and polish the damaged area inside the tire to make it easier for the glue to stick firmly. Then clean up the polished debris, and then apply some special tire repair glue on and around the damaged area to repair the tire. The patch is stuck to the damaged area and pressed firmly, then a layer of glue is applied, and the tire repair is completed.
This method is currently widely used. Patches of different sizes can be selected according to the size of the tire damage, and the price is not expensive. And the effect is good and the stability is relatively high. The shortcomings are more obvious. The tires and hubs need to be separated. After the tire repair is completed, dynamic balancing must be performed, which takes a relatively long time, and larger damages cannot be repaired. Another point is that the damaged areas on the outside are directly exposed, and the damaged area may continue to expand while driving, which requires frequent inspections.
