What is a retreaded tire

Retreaded tires are tires that have been worn out or lost their performance due to other reasons, and have regained their usability after retreading. There are two types of retreaded tires: regular and irregular!

Regular tire retreading

Formal tire retreading must meet the retreaded tire standards stipulated by the state. Tire retreading mainly refers to the replacement of tread rubber and sidewall rubber. According to the degree of tire damage, it can be divided into three retreading processes: top overturn, shoulder overturn and full overturn.

Informal tire retreading

Out of cost control, some unscrupulous merchants do not use the retreading method of adding new patterns when retreading tires, but use special tools such as carving knives and grinders to directly retread the tires on the already worn tires. The pattern deepens. Such retreaded tires are commonly referred to in circles as "cut tires".
